(Sustainability guru...one would think a Professor would do more research before propagating more ag-related misinformation.  For crying out loud, didn't this guy read the report that ag/farmers are some of the most efficient water users in the state?????  Just these three articles this morning....where's the Tylenol???

Senator Michael Rubio
Water infrastructure...sure they need more storage in Southern California...if they would restore Tulare Lake Basin, the largest freshwater basin in California...if this were allowed to function naturally, we would eliminate most if not all of the debate here.  However, So Cal must increase their storage facilities.  Hey here's a thought, the next time one of those canyons that seem to perpetuate wild fires burns, instead of rebuilding homes...dam the damn thing up!  Why wipe out a stunningly BEAUTIFUL canyon such as where the Auburn Dam would go??  When there are better-situated canyons to be turned into reservoirs that won't flood/bury critical historic lands/town of California's heritage, etc? (IMHO)
