Here's the Senate agenda...the only in-Delta representation I see on anything is Supervisor/Chairman Don Nottoli...that's it.  (Of course, Supervisor Nottoli can represent me/my interests any time...he does!) Well rounded representation, huh...Oh and I'm sure public commentators will be held to all of 2 minutes...level playing field here, you paying attention Mr Meral?  Mr. Laird??? the only way you can win in this is to stack the deck and engage in dirty politics against us in the Delta)

Special Post Sacramento River Flow and Functional Projects

Special Post by Nicky Suard, Esq.
It is critically important Delta and Bay Area citizens drive around the Delta...take a look at what is being constructed RIGHT NOW.
Forget about the 'names' of the projects and look at the 'function' as these new fish screens, siphons and water export pumps DO RESULT in 15,000 cfs diversion of Sacramento River water as it currently appear.
A look at Sacramento River Water Flow Through the Delta and the Export Pumps under construction NOW
Part 3 to be uploaded later today
Educating yourself as to what is happening RIGHT NOW in the greater Delta will help us to more completely address, attack and defend that which requires it TODAY!  Passing this information on to every person you know in the greater Bay Area will greatly help us combat nefarious actions as a united citizenry.

Lisa Lien-Mager: ACWA Members Get Latest on Water Bond, Legislative Issues
http://www.acwa.com/news/state-legislation/acwa-members-get-latest-water-bond-legislative-issues
Assembly Member Henry Perea (D-Fresno) said few if any new members of the Legislature understand what it took to develop and secure passage of the 2009 package.
“The longer we delay, the less institutional memory there is in the Legislature. That makes it easier for legislators to turn their back on this,” Perea said. He urged stakeholders to engage and be the driving force in identifying what if any changes should be made.
(Hence, why I advocate for California Water Education 101...every last politician, bureaucrat, lobbyist, council member, commission member, appointee and DWR employees in any forum that water is the subject of discussion and vote, should be mandated by law to take and PASS with a minimum 95% and no curve.  I've raised my standards since last time! No pass-y no vote-y.)

(Hmm....
Tulare, Calif., Congressman Devin Nunes crafts comprehensive legislation to give voice back to agriculture. Legislation moves to Senate where California's two senators say they will oppose it — maybe.
Feinstein has been quoted as saying the bill is “a very selfish bill. It says the farmers get the water, and everybody else be damned." Some of those same farmers supported Nunes’ bill and also have fattened Feinstein’s campaign bank account.
Feinstein has also been quoted as saying she will look at Nunes’ bill to see if there is any good in it she can support. Look close, senator.
Just to quote a few passages...)

(Take a look at the path to provide that water....Kern County to Santa Clara County.  Awesome Santa Clara County wants absolutely nothing to do with this.  The paper trail for water is, Delta to Kern County WATER BANK, back out of the WATER BANK to be SOLD to another water district up here to provide the water necessary for this boondoggle.

Also of note, Mzzz Feinstein has her pretty little fingers all over this.  When Cargill made the decision to retire these salt flats, she attempted to use these same salt flats to mitigate the runway expansion of SFO, then Jerry Brown got into the mix and wanted HIS runway extension for OAK, the overreach stopped/stalled the proposed expansions and salt marsh habitat restoration.

Then this morphed into this current Public Trust theft.  If we are to mitigate and provide proper habitat restoration to offset our water fiasco...then seems to me regardless of where it is located within the state, when proper habitat property becomes available WITH a willing seller, THAT proper habitat should be restored.  Restoring these critical salt marshes and tidal marshes are MOST appropriate here and MOST INAPPROPRIATE anywhere within the Delta east of the Suisun Marsh boundary, period.)

How's about we all take a 12-month break from making ANY money at all.  Geez, classic childish behavior "he has more', 'where's mine'? 'gimme, gimme'...how about that money doesn't belong to you and if you want more, get three jobs, get a higher education....take some personal responsibility.

And hey California???  No one HAS to make as much money this year as they did last year.  And no one has to make more money next year either.  I'd defer as much income as I can just to spite the state...oh wait, I did!)
