Feinstein has been quoted as saying the bill is “a very selfish bill. It says the farmers get the water, and everybody else be damned." Some of those same farmers supported Nunes’ bill and also have fattened Feinstein’s campaign bank account.
Feinstein has also been quoted as saying she will look at Nunes’ bill to see if there is any good in it she can support. Look close, senator.Just to quote a few passages...)

(A couple observations from articles such as these: 1) if we are diverting so much of the fresh water push into our coastal regions as designed by nature, wouldn't that be a factor to be considered? 2) if the environment changes as mentioned here to cause the evolution of new organisms or life, isn't that evolution? 3) when conditions return to 'normal' conditions, have I not read in these science journals how a previously thought 'extinct' organism, fish, life form returned?? So, I'm still thinking we have way too much dissonance in our scientific community with reality.)
