Michael Doyle: Denham, Feinstein Search Out Agreement on California Water Bill
http://www.fresnobee.com/2012/03/09/2753980/house-senate-search-out-agreement.html
(I seem to recall Mzzz. Senator Feinstein stating this bill was DOA in the Senate, with (vinegar in my mouth) Obama stating his anticipated veto...soooo still think we should be sending her thank you cards and roses????  And you know what else???  Where the HELL are our representatives in this???  Why just Feinie and Denham??...oh this is going to get a whole lot worse, my friends...a whole lot....)

Here's the Senate agenda...the only in-Delta representation I see on anything is Supervisor/Chairman Don Nottoli...that's it.  (Of course, Supervisor Nottoli can represent me/my interests any time...he does!) Well rounded representation, huh...Oh and I'm sure public commentators will be held to all of 2 minutes...level playing field here, you paying attention Mr Meral?  Mr. Laird??? the only way you can win in this is to stack the deck and engage in dirty politics against us in the Delta)

John Bowman: A Substantial Impact
http://www.siskiyoudaily.com/news/x75609499/-A-substantial-impact

A Technical Advisory Committee (consisting of landowners, agencies and other stakeholders) met numerous times in 2007/08 to develop the criteria used to prioritize the most important tailwater return areas in the watershed based on estimated quantity, temperature impacts and proximity of each tailwater return to salmonid rearing habitat.
(Finally, an advisory committee, heck, ANY committee, council, commission that includes the LANDOWNER, let alone the LANDOWNER being listed first, that IS a first!!)

(One of the reasons I believe California or Western Woman are so very different from other women in the US is because we come from very sturdy stock...remember, it was the woman or wife who stood beside her husband, building, planting, harvesting, defending their land and families...it's not like there was a neighborhood watch!)
