New No-Drilling Ocean Preserve off Sonoma Coast by California Democratic Lawmakers

The group, led by Rep. Lynn Woolsey, D-San Rafael, and Sen. Barbara Boxer, is asking Obama to sign an executive order establishing a new offshore national monument extending from Bodega Bay near the Marin County-Sonoma County border north to Point Arena in Mendocino County.

"If history has taught us anything about water in California, it's that everybody should be extremely skeptical when somebody who wants to take your water says, "Don't worry."
That point was driven home again last week in Chico at a two-day water conference hosted by AquAlliance.

The Use of Land was edited by William Reilly, who would later be appointed by George H. W. Bush as the administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency in 1989. Reilly also attended the 1992 Earth Summit in Rio de Janeiro, where he advised President Bush to sign the UN Agenda 21, thereby committing the United States to Agenda 21.

California Oyster Farm Sues U.S. Government to Keep Business
This is not about 'privatizing' Drakes Estero, this is about the U.S. Government honoring its word (Native Americans can snort/laugh at that one) of renewing leases in 40 year intervals in perpetuity.  I find the missing word 'perpetuity' somewhat disturbing.  Without that critical word inserted into the dialogue, then it does appear the U.S. Gov't can opt not to renew the leases.  Don't forget this is a 'working landscape' in this NPS controlled area...I also say "heads up potential 'willing sellers' in the Delta, this can happen to you'.

Working Landscapes, NPS, Perpetuity, Sound Familiar?  What is happening over at Drakes Bay, can and will happen eventually in the Delta.  Did the DPC just address 'working Delta landscapes' at their last meeting.  Well, take a good hard look at a 'working landscape' that came under control of the NPS (National Heritage Area, anyone?).  

The Federal Government has reneged on its contract with these private property owners to renew 40 year leases into perpetuity, which was why the EASEMENTS/SALES went through...and now look at where they are.

(On the surface, this seems ok.  It is comprised of elected Supervisors from each member county, that's ok.  But then when clicking around the website one sees this is tied to Council of Goverments, Inc. (COG's' and other Agenda 21-related organizations.)  Herein lies a problem...having rural counties' different needs and perspectives adequately represented in proper political realms is correct.  It is the other inappropriate (Unconstitutional alliances, etc.) realms and associations that makes these things detrimental to local elected representative government...undermines and seeks to dismantle this very process.  Ultimately plays part and parcel to wealth redistribution.)

(My opinion, California Farm Bureau should be supporting ALL farmers and stop quasi pitting one group of farmers against another, period.  How can the Bureau file suits to protect farmland against High Speed Rail in the Central Valley, yet do absolutely nothing as a state-wide organization to support farmers and farmland in the Delta against the ill-fated Peripheral Anything??

Both supposed projects are nothing more than wealth redistribution, land theft and water heisting in its finest form.  The deliberate breaking up of long-held, original California founding families holdings is deliberate, willful and being perpetuated upon all of us under the guise of 'water supply reliability' and 'ecosystem restoration' and will come down via inverse condemnation, declarations of 'critical habitat', 'buffer zones', anything NPS wants to put out as 'science' (potential NHA designation ala Drakes Bay, folks.) 

The California Farm Bureau should make a united stand against ANY theft of ANY of California's Prime Soil rated agriculture lands.  After all, that's what they organized for in the first place, to protect, defend, advocate and lobby for ALL farmers in their organization, correct???

There is one better alternative to the Delta boondoggle that would actually resolve most of the ecosystem, and supply reliability issues, do the least amount of harm to the geographic areas involved, ecosystem and private property while providing the highest return on investment of all resources dedicated to such resolutions.  It is the Western Delta Intake Concept put forth by Dr. Robert Pyke. 

Neither these two con jobs are nothing more than hijacking of our public processes and resources for personal gain by a very, very, very small circle of people, to the complete and utter devastation of California and her citizens from Oregon to Mexico borders.)
