Brian Joseph, Orange County Register  High Speed Rail's Coming Battle, Powerful Landowners
http://californiawatch.org/dailyreport/high-speed-rails-coming-battle-powerful-land-owners-14764
(I see, so when the farmers and landowners are 'powerful' farmers in and around Tejon Ranch and the Central San Joaquin Valley, they are a force to contend with as far as land acquisition, infrastructure construction and destruction of prime agriculture land and THEIR way of life is involved; but our farmers and other 'powerful' landowners in and around the Primary and Secondary Zone of the Legal Delta are just supposed to roll over and take it up the back side, all because we aren't aligned with the backers of Tejon Ranch Co, (hint hint, look at the principle developers, capital investments and NGO's, who they are, what they signed off on and for how long and in return for what??? and how this all ties back to the same player(s) involved in stealing Delta water to provide for this particular rich and famous development)...

Randy Fiorini, Nostalgic Trip Down Delta Drifts too Far From the Facts
http://www.recordnet.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20120205/A_OPINION03/202050304/-1/A_OPINION
(Within this well-written opinion, Mr. Fiorini speaks to the State Water Resources Control Board setting flow criteria for the Delta.  Until the SWRCB actually grows a spine and sets forth the flow criteria presented and accepted by the Board last year, seems to me the Delta Plan and the BDCP are wasting time, effort and money on a potentially moot project (I know, like that would actually happen)!  Or stated this way, without legally acknowledged in/out flow criteria for the Delta, how in the heck can anyone plan anything when something as basic as flow criteria hasn't been legally acknowledged?)
