Dr. David Zippin and Jennifer Pierre of ICF International gave a somewhat confusing presentation responding to the comments. At one point, Pierre stated in regard to a question on Delta outflows, "I don't know how to explain the numbers."If you can't explain the numbers, then maybe the project shouldn't be built...)

Beware - A Water Supply Disaster
http://www.foxandhoundsdaily.com/2012/11/beware-a-water-supply-disaster/
(This is more like it...finally, someone addressing the fact that So Cal's concrete ditch is their biggest threat or liability to their 'water supply reliability'...not the levees in the Delta.
Not to mention this concrete ditch has subsided in some areas up to four feet. That's a 4 foot sink hole or drop off in that ditch. I'd be more concerned about that coupled with the fact it runs parallel to the San Andreas fault, but hey, what do I know???)

Investors Business Daily: “Retirement is an American’s reasonable expectation. We put money into investment plans so that our work today funds our hard-earned leisure of tomorrow. But many in Washington see our investment accounts not as the expressions of well-planned, disciplined decisions but as untapped reservoirs of wealth they can drain to fix the problems that they caused.”
