The amendment to reopen the White House for tours, which was introduced by the Oklahoma Republican, would have reduced National Heritage Area funding by $8.1 million and directed $6 million of the savings toward keeping the White House and other National Parks open. It failed by a 54-45 vote.

Articles: Sheriff Cruz Meets School Marm Feinstein
http://www.americanthinker.com/2013/03/sheriff_cruz_meets_school_marm_feinstein.html
Cruz is the new sheriff in town who takes seriously his oath to uphold the Constitution. Cruz's interrogation of Attorney General Eric Holder about constitutional limits on the President's use of drones on American citizens on U.S. soil and his questioning of Feinstein put the Senate and the administration on notice. They're not going to get a pass from him when they ignore constitutional constraints on the federal government.

Articles: Coolidge: A Politician Uncannily Deserving of Respect
http://www.americanthinker.com/2013/03/coolidge_a_politician_uncannily_deserving_of_respect.html
