(However, with respect to the ban on dredging, I read a report a couple of years ago indicating through lack of dredging coupled with more fresh water diverted from the Delta that will no longer flush silt and other debris out through the GG Bridge. Basically, you will be able to walk from Emeryville to SF on the buildup of silt...just one small 'fact' those that think they can predict what the SF Bay would look like, either don't know about or don't care.)
