(I suppose the $9.5 million will be better utilized in Ventura County than say...oh I don't know, in the Delta securing up that water supply reliability for those 25 million people relying/demanding more and more Delta water.  And must be nice to have that flood insurance monkey off of their backs, too..just a thought.)

When one takes into account who else will benefit from this proposal, the moral case against this proposal becomes even stronger. It's time for somebody to throw an old-fashioned tea party Messrs Williams, Gluckstern, and Altman. You know, the kind with tar, feathers, and a rail for them to ride out of town. Or so I think, in my First Amendment-protected humble opinion. (Emphasis mine.)
I also say, pick a proposal, pick a policy, pick damn near anything in current affairs and they all boil down to a genuinely-deserved, Good Old Fashioned Tea Party!

Business Groups Criticize Obama Over remarks About Government's Role in Success

(Funny, all those years we worked so hard to create a home, raise healthy, productive children and build a multi-million dollar company, I don't recall the government being there for anything other than collecting their unearned confiscation of our earnings, taxes.

Hmmm...to think, all these years, it was really government and Obama that walked the floor at night with sick babies, paid our mortgage each month, our taxes each year and most importantly, I don't recall Obama or any of his free-loading cronies working one honest day's work for one honest day's wages.  But hey, 'Thank you, Mr. Obama'...What an ass.)
