(Tulare Lake Basin is the largest naturally occurring lake/basin in California.  Salton Sea is a freak result of nature, at least get that part of the story right.

I'd much rather see water diverted to restore some or all of TLB, not continue to falsely supply fresh water to a place that should have evaporated naturally, not be the receptacle of agriculture run-off, especially in the Central Valley's naturally high toxic soils.  That having been said, remediation of the dried 'lake bed' has to be addressed.  Another California-made mess we have to address.)
